Bartlett Pears

Watercolor with pen and ink details. It worked out to be a good combination. The ink is a brown ink from a Hi-tec C .25 pen. It is not waterproof so you can get some interesting effects with a light wash over the top. Pears are turning out to be one of my favorite subjects. So much variety and so much individual character.

Thanks for visiting my blog - I'd never have found yours otherwise. These pears are absolutley gorgeous. I could almost pick them up and eat them! I'm going for a look around.

Beautiful pears! I started to sketch too, and I like the subjects you choose.
